Gov-Auctions.org Reviews – Is Gov-Auction.org Legit or Scam?

Are you trying to find a car at auction? Do you know where the auctions in your area are being held? You could get out the phone book and start calling government agencies to find government cars that are going to come up for auction or you could use a service like Gov-Auctions or Auctionresource.org. Auctionresource.org is probably the most popular.

gov-auctions.org reviews gov-auctions.org scamThere are a couple of things you should consider about this website before you get started and plunk down the membership fee! Yes there is a membership fee to the tune of $39.95. This is a one-time fee that does not have to be renewed.

The $39.95 was advertised as the “February Special” the regular membership fee is $47.95. The problem with sites like these is that the fees are fluid and ever changing. Today it is $39.95 tomorrow it could be $29.95 next week $59.95. The only good thing about the membership fee is that you only have to pay it once and you do get instant access to the lists of auctions.

Things to Consider

Unlike the site advertises there is in fact not government auctions everyday for cars and goods. As a matter of fact government agencies rarely hold auctions. There are several reasons for this but none more powerful than the state of the economy.

As the economy stalls all the government agencies hold on to their goods as long as possible. Seized vehicles are often kept by the agency and used by that agency. Of course there are some auctions still being held but they are rarely held online.

You will have to appear in person at the auction to participate. If you live in a rural area you will likely never have an auction in your area!

Overall, the Gov-Auctions.org review shows this to be a legit site and not a scam, however a more popular choice seems to be Auctionresource.org.
