Quibids.com Review

Quibids Review – Is Quibids.com a Scam?

The Quibids.com reviews show that this is another penny auction site. It is one of over 500 penny auction sites available online. Finding the right penny auction site can be difficult simply because of the volume. When reviewing sites one of the things that you should look for is whether this site overs something that is worth a second look. While there are some deals to be had at just about any legit penny auction site, most people prefer using a service like Auctionresource.org for finding deals on big ticket items online.

Free Bids at Quibids.com?

beezid reviews - beezid scamFor me that something extra is free bids to register. Bids are what you use at penny auctions instead of actual dollars. For example at quibids.com the cost of the bids are 60 cents each of that 60 cents only 1 cent goes toward bidding hence the term penny auction. So right out the gate you are losing 59 cents. Getting free bids for registration is important when you consider that you are losing 59 cents per bid.

Quibids.com does not offer free bids for registering. For me it’s an issue. There are some redeeming qualities that this site offers like the buy it now option but it is not a WOW option most penny auction sites have some sort of option to buy it now. Once you place the bids you lose the bids if you do not win the auction. You do have the option of redeeming your bids if you choose the buy it now option any lost bids during the auction can be applied to the purchase of the item you were bidding on if you choose to buy it now.

The Site

The site is easy to use and it does have a lot of information as far as tutorials and tips which is nice if you are a beginner and new to the art of the penny auction. There is a lot of information available and a lot of help available.

The Items at Quibids.com

The Quibids review show that this site has a lot of electronics on their site which is a nice change. Many of the penny auction sites offer a low ratio of electronics compared to the gift cards that are available but Quibids really stands out in this forum. They always seem to have a lot of decent items up for auction.

Also as a positive the winners do seem to be spread across the board while at some other sites it does seem that the same names pop up over and over again. So you have decent items to bid on and a decent chance at winning!

The contact information is plentiful with a toll free number posted for customer care and a physical address as well. I liked the items that they had up for grabs. The cost of the per bids is actually at the low end of the industry standards which is also nice.

On the down side there are no free bids available when you register which I think would bring more people in and would also be a nice way to get started. This is a decent site overall and it is a safe site. Your chance of winning at this site is as good as any other penny auction site.

Overall, the Quibids.com reviews show this to be a legit site and not a scam, however most people have reported finding better deals using a site like Auctionresource.org.
